Pike Fishing
To fish for Pike, members must be in possession of a Pike Pass.
This rule also applies to:
- Water Share members
- Guests
Please note: You cannot fish for Pike without your own pass, even if you are with someone who already holds one.
Pike Pass Tuition sessions are now closed until Sept 2026.
Southdown & Hydneye Community Angling Club
SHCAC is a friendly, open-membership community angling club that promotes responsible fishing and conservation.
We offer a superb variety of venues in and around Eastbourne and Hailsham, including:

- Marle Green near Horam
- Miles of riverbanks on the Wallers Haven, Pevensey Haven, and Cuckmere River.
Through a new arrangement with Wylands Farm Fishery near Battle, members can also access several additional lakes with heavily discounted day tickets.
Whether you prefer specimen, match, or pleasure fishing, we offer a fantastic experience for a very affordable annual fee.
