PEVENSEY HAVEN & CHILLEY STREAM
Pevensey Haven
North East Bank. Three fields upstream from Sheepwash to Chilley Bridge, including Chilley Stream. Entrances over stiles by Chilley Bridge or Sheepwash at the Pevensey end.
Chilley Stream
South / East Bank. Downstream from Chilley Bridge to confluence with the Pevensey Haven, entrance over stile by bridge. Four fields upstream from bridge, entrance over gate south of bridge.
This venue is shared with the Hastings, Bexhill and District Freshwater Angling Association.

Open for fishing:
This Fishery is subject to the national closed season. Fishing is only allowed from the 16th June through to the 14th March.

- Water closed Saturday mornings when farmer runs boot fair.
- No entry or parking in field; park in available verge and layby only.
- No parking in front of gates; access required at all times.
- No fishing in 2nd field upstream from Pevensey Haven entrance until after silage has been cut.
- Floating Penny Wort is present here. This invasive weed is easily transferable to other fisheries and can make them unfishable. Please use the Environmental Agency/ Angling Trust Check, Clean & Dry protocol for footwear & all items such as landing nets, keepnets & weigh slings.
